Prerequisite

Enable alternative payment methods

In the PayPal Express Checkout Payment Gateway for WooCommerce, you don’t have to activate alternative payment methods separately. By enabling the Smart Button feature, it automatically incorporates eligible alternative payment methods.

Available alternative payment methods

  • The alternative payment methods available are:
    • Bancontact
    • BLIK
    • eps
    • iDEAL
    • MyBank
    • Pay upon Invoice
    • Przelewy24

For a deeper understanding of payment method specifics and eligibility requirements, refer to the article: Alternative Payment Methods.

Disable alternative payment methods

Activating the Smart Button will automatically include all qualified payment methods on the site. Nevertheless, you can remove any payment methods from the site if necessary.

For example, consider a site with a Debit or Credit Card payment method available.

To disable a payment method:

  1. In the WordPress admin dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal Express

3.Scroll down to the PayPal Smart Button section.

4.From the Disable funding sources field, select the payment method to disable(Debit or Credit Card).
