You can use your daily Apple devices to securely purchase and transfer money. This is much easier and safer than a physical card. Start credit, debit, and prepaid cards on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac.
To set up Apple Pay in the supported regions, you will need the following:
- An eligible device.
- A supported card from a participating card issuer
- The latest version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS
- An Apple ID
To use Apple Pay on your mobile phone, you must first add the card to your certified device. To use Apple Pay from several devices, you will need to add a card to each device. You can add multiple cards to each device with up to 12 cards on Apple Watch Series 3, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and up to 8 cards on previous models.
After setting up Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch, you can use the card on Mac models on the Safari web.
Add a card on your iPhone
Follow the instructions to add the card to your iPhone
- Go to the wallet app on your iPhone and tap `+`.Â
- Follow the steps to add the card. If you support debit, credit, or prepaid cards for use with iTunes, enter the card’s security code and then tap next. Otherwise, scan your iPhone camera for supported cards and fill in the additional information you need.
- Â After reviewing the information, the bank or card issuer will decide whether the card can be used with Apple Pay.
- You will be asked to provide further information. If your bank or card ID is required to verify your card. Dependencies on review methods are given by email, text, or call. If you have any information, go back to Setting -> Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card.
- Once your card is checked with the bank or card issuer, tap next. You can now use Apple Pay.
Add the card to your Apple Watch
Follow the instructions to add the card to your Apple Watch.
- Launch the App to your iPhone and go to My Watch Tab.
- Tap Add your credit or debit card. Follow the steps to add the card. If you support debit, credit, or prepaid cards for use with iTunes, enter the card’s security code and then tap.
- Tap next. After reviewing the information, the bank or card issuer will decide whether the card can be used with Apple Pay.
- You will be asked to provide further information If your bank or card ID is required to verify your card. Dependencies on review methods are given by email, text, or call. If you have any information go back to Setting -> Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card.
- Once your card is checked with the Bank or card issuer, tap next. You can now use Apple Pay.
Add a Card on your Mac
Follow the instructions to add the card to your MacBook Pro using your Touch ID.
- Â Go to System Preferences -> Wallet & Apple Pay
- Tap add card
- Follow the steps to add a card. If you support debit, credit, or prepaid cards for use with iTunes, enter the card’s security code and then tap next.
- You will be asked to provide further information If your bank or card ID is required to verify your card. Dependencies on review methods are given by email, text, or call. If you have any information go back to Setting -> Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card.
- Once your card is checked with the bank or card issuer, tap next. You can now use Apple Pay.
For your Mac models without Touch ID, you need to have an eligible iPhone or Apple Watch to use Apple Pay. To do that, on your iPhone or Apple Watch, go to settings -> Wallet & Apple Pay and turn on Allow Payments on Mac.
